About Joining Tjuringa Orienteers
Tjuringa warmly welcomes everyone interested in becoming a member. But it’s not essential to be a member if you want to try out at an event first. This is called a “casual” entry. We can help you with this beforehand.
(Entry on the day is usually not available for either casuals or members because maps have to be prepared in advance).
By becoming a member you gain access to our friendly beginners coaching people, and later to our training crew. To register yourself as either a casual or a member Tjuringa’s friendly community, click to Registration at Eventor Australia then follow the screenshots below.

The annual fee for joining an Orienteering SA affiliated club for 21 and over members is $65. A complete list is presented in the following table. Among many other things, these fees cover the cost of OSA’s Sport Ident (SI) control stations. Annual fees are typically half price if renewing or joining between July and December.
Event registration fees are very small: typically about $10 per registrant per day. Some major national events have marginally higher fees to cover the additional associated costs.
