Tjuringa Orienteers

Orienteering for all, in and around Adelaide — your “Sport for Life”

Tjuringa Orienteers stands as one of the largest, oldest, and most vibrant orienteering clubs in the Adelaide region, a testament to our enduring commitment to the sport and our active community.

We comprise a diverse community, drawing members from all corners of metro Adelaide and its surrounding regions. Our members span numerous age groups and backgrounds, making for a rich and varied club experience. Tjuringa also organizes orienteering events in six Adelaide area “school-member” primary schools.

In addition to running events, Tjuringa is proud of being a friendly, family-supportive social club. New members are always welcome.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge with deep gratitude and respect, the environmental heritage of tens of thousands of years of custodianship by First Nations communities on whose unceded country we enjoy: including but not limited to the Kuarna, Ngadjuri, Danggali, Meru, Ngarad, Bindjali, and Ngarrindjeri. We commit to ongoing support of this, the world’s oldest continuously evolving culture.
